Dr. Bettina Paust is an art historian and cultural manager. She has been the head of the Cultural Office of the City of Wuppertal since 2018, after having headed the Museum Schloss Moyland Foundation and the Joseph Beuys Archive as Artistic Director for many years. She has curated numerous exhibitions on Joseph Beuys and recently, the Performance Festival in Wuppertal, as part of the Beuys 2021 anniversary year.

Paust has also published numerous articles on Joseph Beuys and recently, together with Prof. Dr. Timo Skrandies, published the “Joseph Beuys – Handbook. Life, Work, Effect”.
